U.S. President Trump refused to commit to a peaceful transfer of power after the November election, saying there won’t be a transfer, and there will be a continuation.

When asked about the issue by a reporter during a White House press briefing, Trump complained about the ballots, opposing states’ efforts to expand mail-in voting in response to the coronavirus.

The New York Times commented that Trump’s refusal to endorse a peaceful transfer was the latest example in which he cast serious uncertainty around the November election. Democrats are getting increasingly alarmed and worried that Trump might not accept the results if he loses.
