台灣VR影片巴黎擒獎！Taiwanese VR film wins award in Paris

Red Tail, a Taiwanese virtual reality (VR) film, won “Special Mention Award” at an art festival in Paris, with jurors praising it as a breakthrough in VR film-making.

Fish Wang, a Taiwanese animator who has won the Golden Horse Award for best short animation in 2019, took two years to create the film, which tells an adventure story about a youth chasing a floating red tail in the sky to a fantasy city.

Jurors said that the artistic aesthetic of the film is mesmerizing, and they also saw a lot of potential in the project, which breaks technical limitations and increases possibilities for the genre.
