Gustav Iden, a Norwegian marathon runner, was photographed wearing a hat from Shunze Temple in Puyan Township, Changhua County after winning the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in France. Since then, the demand for the hat has increased tremendously and the temple has given away more than 168,000 hats.

The temple official said that even after the hats went viral, the temple still insists on handing them out for free.
