「防疫新生活運動」，大家一起來A “New Disease Prevention Lifestyle” After COVID-19

It has been more than 40 days that no new domestic cases have been reported in Taiwan. Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shih-chung and the Central Epidemic Command Center’s (CECC) top officials visited Kenting for a two-day trip last weekend to promote domestic tourism and a “new disease prevention lifestyle.” This was the first time the CECC held its daily news conference outside of Taipei.

Local business in Kenting has suffered since it was announced as one of the crowded scenic areas in April. This trip was arranged to restore public confidence in Kenting, and hopefully to bring visitors back.

According to experts, Taiwan is under control and relatively safe now. However, to move freely and return to normal, people still need to continue current efforts and incorporate personal protective measures into daily life, living the so-called “new disease prevention lifestyle.”
