搭郵輪一般來說需要時間少，目的地近（例如盛產美味牛肉的石垣島），再加上相對價格低，已經成為越來越多人的旅遊選擇，但郵輪上標示多半使用英文，如果想要自由行，下面英文你一定要懂！

embark上船(v.)

to go onto a ship, or to put or take something onto a ship

E.g.  We will embark the ship at 9:30 this evening.

例句：我們將在今晚9:30上船。

disembark離船登岸(v.)

to get off a ship

E.g. I had to disembark the ship because I was not feeling well.

例句：我因為身體不舒服不得不離船。

port (船、飛機的)左舷(n.)

the left side of a ship when you are looking towards the front

E.g. The view of the island is really beautiful from the port side of the ship.

例句：從船的左舷看去，島上的景色真的很美。

starboard (船、飛機的)右舷(n.)

the side of a ship that is on your right when you are facing forwards

E.g. Let’s jump off the starboard side of the ship into the warm water.

例句：讓我們從船的右舷跳入溫暖的水裡。

gangway (上下船的)跳板，梯板(n.)

a large board or steps between a boat and the shore for people to walk down

E.g. I almost fell off the gangway when I was boarding the ship.

cabin  艙房(n.)

a room on a ship in which you live or sleep

E.g. I am going to go to my cabin and go to sleep.

例句：我要去我的艙房睡覺。

deck甲板(n.)

one of the levels on a ship

E.g. Which deck is your cabin on?

例句：你的艙房在哪一層甲板？

crew 船員，水手(n.)

all the people who work on a ship

e.g. Can you find a crew member and tell them I am locked out of my cabin.

例句：你可以找到船員並告訴他們，我被鎖在我的艙房外面嗎？
