你喜歡喝飲料嗎?在台灣真是飲料愛好者的天堂,各式各樣的新奇飲料只要上街就能買到。許多人卻以為,身材瘦就等於能多吃點甜食,也比較不容易有罹患糖尿病的風險-但這是真的嗎?快來看看吧!

Although scientists have warned of a link between obesity, sugar-sweetened drinks and diabetes for some time, few studies have investigated whether people who consume lots of sugary drinks are more likely to develop diabetes, regardless of their weight.

Researchers at the University of Cambridge analyzed 17 studies in this area, and the pattern they found hints that regardless of a person’s weight, consuming drinks with added sugar could be linked to an increased risk of diabetes.

雖然科學家已經提出警告,肥胖﹑含糖飲料及糖尿病之間有著緊密的關係,一直還未有人證實任何體重族群都有可能因過度攝取含糖飲料而導致糖尿病。

劍橋大學的研究學家分析了17項研究,並發現一種支持此假說的模式。不論體重,攝取大量含糖飲料的人有可能有較高的糖尿病患病率。
