一分鐘知天下事：男女平等？冠夫姓不如冠妻姓？

在台灣，越來越少女生結婚後冠夫姓了，台灣人的習慣是在女生原有的姓氏再加上夫家的姓。但是在西方和日本的習慣是女生直接換成夫家的姓，日本法律甚至明文規定夫妻得相同姓氏。大家也覺得理所當然（已婚的女性會被稱為Mrs.＋自己的名字+丈夫的姓，或是Mrs.丈夫的姓）但近幾年漸漸改變了；據統計，美國在2010年代，有22%的新娘在婚後還是保有自己的姓氏，原因包含了女性的教育程度和社會地位漸漸抬高，讓不少女性都想在職場上保有自己的個人品牌性。

只是現在，甚至出現「冠妻姓」的情形？引發了不少人的討論！

“Why is it so surprising, shocking,eventful that a man would take his wife’s surname?” asks American actress Zoe Saldana on her Facebook page.”Men, you will not cease to exist by taking your partner’s surname. On the contrary, you will be remembered as a man who stood by change,” she writes.

Ben Martin is one of a new breed of men who are taking their wives’ surnames. The 32-year-old music promoter from Glasgow, Scotland, says he didn’t think anything of it. “I really liked the sound of my wife’s name – Rowan Martin – and didn’t want to spoil that with her changing it.”

班恩是一名冠妻姓的新世代男性，今年32歲，擔任唱片宣傳，是蘇格蘭格拉斯哥人，表示冠妻姓這件事沒什麼大不了。「我很喜歡內人的名字（Rowan Martin），不想要她冠夫姓。」
