Real leaders don’t give their employees ultimatums. Ultimatums don’t
solve anything, but only lead to problems. An open threat usually leads
to grievances and even litigation.

真正的領導者不會對員工下最後通牒。這解決不了任何問題，只會導致更多問題。公然威脅通常會導致怨恨，甚至走上法律訴訟。

When having problems with a subordinate, use the proper steps to deal
with the issue. Consulting HR would be a good idea as well. You might
still have to let someone go, but you can sleep better at night knowing
you did things professionally. The first steps should involve informing
the employee of his shortcomings and trying to help him improve. Keep
in mind, your other employees will also be aware of how you handled the
situation.

Anyone who thinks they’re always right isn’t in touch with reality. Using
this phrase, even if you don’t mean it literally, will immediately get
you labeled as a narcissist. Telling people you’re always right will cause
people to perceive you as distant, haughty, and self-aggrandized.

任何人如果認為他是對的，是與現實脫節。使用這句話，即使你沒有這個意思，也會立即被貼上自戀者的標籤。告訴別人你總是對的，會讓人覺得你高高在上，傲慢以及自我膨脹。
