Departure：出發
the act of leaving a place, especially at the start of a journey
離開一個地方，尤其是在旅程的開始。

e.g：There was a delay in the departure of our plane.

Arrival ：到達
when someone or something arrives somewhere.
當某人或某事物到達某個地方。

e.g：We eagerly awaited the arrival of Jake’s plane.
例句：我們熱切等待傑克搭乘的飛機到來。

Gate：登機門
the place where you leave an airport building to get on a plane
你離開機場並登上飛機的地方。

e.g：Air France flight 87 leaves from gate 7B.
例句：法國航空公司87航班從7B登機門登機。

Terminal ：航站大廈
a big building where people wait to get onto planes, buses, or ships, or where goods are loaded.
人們等待登上飛機，巴士，或輪船，或裝載貨物的一個建築物。

e.g：After checking in we headed to the airport’s passenger terminal.
例句：報到檢查後，我們前往機場的旅客航站大廈。

Customs：海關
the official department that administers and collects the duties levied by a government on imported goods
負責管理和徵收進口貨物關稅的政府部門。

e.g：We were told to declare any tobacco and alcohol to customs.”
例句：我們被告知向海關申報香菸和酒。”

Baggage Claim：領取行李
the area in an airport where arriving passengers collect luggage that has been carried in the hold of the aircraft.
在機場供入境旅客領取飛機托運行李的地方。

e.g：After we passed through immigration, we went to the baggage claim to get our luggage.
例句：通過入境檢查處之後，我們去領取我們的行李。

Delay：延遲
when someone or something has to wait, or the length of the waiting time
某人或某件事必須等待，或是等待的時間。

e.g：Bad weather caused our flight to be delayed for two hours.
例句：惡劣的天氣導致我們的航班遲延了兩個小時。

Currency：貨幣
the system or type of money that a country uses.
一個國家使用的錢幣系統或類型。

e.g：We exchanged our own currency for the local currency before leaving the airport.”
例句：我們離開機場之前將自己的貨幣兌換為當地貨幣。
