單身快樂！雙十一光棍節主題學英文

雙十一光棍節即將來了！11月11日是俗稱的光棍節。以1代表單身，四個1的組合象徵自己以單身為傲，值得大肆購買來慶祝一番，2013年僅是在光棍節，大陸知名的淘寶網就創造了將近350億人民幣的業績！近來這股單身至上的購物氣氛也吹到台灣，許多台灣的網購業者也在這一天推出重量級優惠，優惠內容甚至不比百貨周年慶差。

光棍節介紹完，回歸到學英文這個重點，本篇用一些網路購物常見的單字來教大家英文。

Delivery – 送貨；交付；交貨
the act of bringing goods, letters, etc. to a particular person or place
“You can expect delivery within seven business days.”
你會在七個工作日內收到貨。

Credit Card – 信用卡
a small plastic card that you use to buy goods or services and pay for them later
“We accept all major credit cards.”
我們接受所有主要銀行的信用卡。

Express – 快遞
a system that delivers letters and packages very quickly
“You will have to pay an extra charge for express delivery.”
用快遞送貨你必須多付一些費用。

Sold out – 銷售一空
if a shop or store is sold out of a particular product, it has sold all of that product
“The store was completely sold out of the new iPhone 6.”
店裡最新的iPhone6已銷售一空。

Secure – 安全保障
safe from and protected against damage or attack
“Companies offer secure credit card transactions over the internet.”
很多公司提供信用卡網路交易的安全保障。

bachelor – 單身貴族

Bachelor pad – 單身公寓
a dwelling, often an apartment, where an unmarried man lives
