A：「I’m attending a conference on Tuesday.」

conference：會議 (n.)
a large formal meeting where a lot of people discuss important matters such as business, politics, or science, especially for several days.
一個大型正式的會議，許多人討論重要事項，如商業，政治或科學，尤其是持續好幾天。

e.g. They came here to attend the International Peace Conference.
例：他們來到這裡參加國際和平會議。

A：「I am here for sightseeing.」
答：「我來觀光。」

sightseeing：觀光 (n.)
when you visit famous or interesting places, especially as tourists.
當你去參觀著名或有趣的地方，尤其是以遊客身分。

e.g. They went sightseeing in Korea.
例：他們去韓國觀光。

A：「I am on business.」
答：「我出差。」

business：業務 (n.)
work that you do as part of your job.
從事你職務的工作。

e.g. She’s in Paris this week on business.
例：她本週在巴黎出差。

A：「I am visiting relatives.」
答：「我來探親。」

relative：親戚 (n.)
a member of your family.
你的家庭成員。

e.g. We had a gathering of friends and relatives.
例 : 我們有親戚朋友的聚會。

A：「I am here to study as an exchange student.」
答：「我是來學習的交換學生。」

exchange：交換 (n.)
an arrangement in which a student, teacher etc visits another school or university to work or study.
學生或是教師等等到其他學校或大學工作或學習的一種安排。

e.g. He is an exchange student.
例 : 他是一名交換學生。
